“I have suffered on and off with bouts of depression and anxiety for most of my adult life. I was going through a particularly bad patch in December 15. Within days of using the tags my sleep improved. The nightmares stopped. After about four and a half months it was as though something had been lifted from me. Since then I have had one bad morning and one nightmare. I am much less stressed and better able to deal with things that come up. My mind does not now whirr and I seem able to get much more done.
My skin is the best it has been all my life…. I have found that my digestion is much improved… I feel the need to eat green vegetables almost every day. I still like the odd sweet thing but I don’t crave. I am better able to listen to what my body wants.
I have found the programme to be extraordinarily beneficial to my mental health and physical health.”

“I am 65 years old, was a psychotherapist for 20 years, got burn out and retired. Now work part time as a book-keeper administrator.
When I first came onto the programme I was depressed and actively contemplating suicide. At least partly because I was already morbidly obese and piling weight on, despite my best efforts. Also because I had florid IBS and couldn’t leave the house without risking an accident. I felt like a complete failure and ashamed of myself for not having managed my life better. I know I am clever but I couldn’t read anymore, had no energy and no motivation.
The first change I noticed was that I stopped being suicidal. Still depressed but no longer planning to die. The other miracle was that I stopped putting on weight, no diet, and still obese but I had put on about a stone every year since I retired in 2008 despite a range of diets and that just stopped. No change in what, when or how much I ate, weight stable. I still have IBS but not so extreme or so often so I can plan and go out, even go away.
Next stage was that I started losing weight, again no diet but changes in metabolism, digestion, food choices. I have lost … just under 3 stone, still obese but going in the right direction… The programme has stopped me blaming myself for things which are outside of my control, and indeed outside of my awareness. I deliberately eat a wide range of foods to give the microbes the best chance I can.
My self- esteem has improved and I have gained – or regained – a sense of humour. I have added a high range to my hearing which I didn’t know was missing. I don’t feel ashamed, or call myself names which are actively unhelpful.
I am improving, how far I can go given where I started and the current consequences of a lifetime of difficulties I don’t know. I do know how much I have changed so absolutely know and trust that this programme can make fundamental changes in all levels of functioning for many people.”

“I have found a new job which produces more money and less stress. I am coping very well and better able to ask for help from other people than I was in the past. And I’m dealing with my mother’s illness much better than I would have expected.”
